In her role as an OTL instructional consultant, Debbie offers individual consultations and workshops in Blackboard. Debbie is a PhD candidate in Instructional Technology with an emphasis in Instructional Design and Performance Improvement. She holds a masters degree in Business and is a Project Management Professional (PMP).

Debbie’s teaching and research interests include activity based learning, mastery learning, cognitive load, attention and motivation. She has taught project management at WSU, and needs assessment and evaluation courses at Oakland University. Debbie’s dissertation research is focused on narrative (storytelling, sense-making) and adult learners.
